Painting insight: Like anything else, you only get better by showing up and doing the work over and over again.

Career takeaway: Talent is nice, but consistency is better. The best professionals—across fields—aren’t just gifted; they’re disciplined. They show up even when it’s not perfect. Painting reminded me that growth is iterative, not instant.
